Liza enjoys collaborating with other unit title industry stakeholders and is committed to supporting the Body Corporate Management industry.

Liza has drafted submissions to government on all aspects of the Unit Titles Act representing New Zealand Law Society, Auckland District Law Society and Strata Community Association NZ. She provides support and training to Body Corporate Managers and enjoys educating Chairpersons, Committees and owners and collaborating with the Body Corporate Chairs’ Group.

Liza co-wrote the Auckland District Law Society model rules in 2011 and is a member of the UTA Working Group, previously led by past minister Nikki Kaye, that continues to lobby government to improve the Unit Titles Act legislation.

Liza worked closely with the Auckland District Law Society and New Zealand Law Society during the nationwide Covid-19 lockdowns in 2020 to lobby government resulting in an amendment to the Unit Titles Act allowing for owners to attend Body Corporate meetings remotely.
